These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of radiantskinproject.org and any pages we operate (collectively, the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
1) Mission-Aligned Use
The Site exists to advance our nonprofit mission: funding innovative anti-aging research and sharing science with the public. You agree to use the Site only for lawful, non-commercial purposes consistent with that mission.
2) No Medical or Professional Advice
All content is provided for general information and education. We do not provide medical, legal, financial or professional advice. See our Disclaimer.
3) Accounts & Submissions
If you submit information (e.g., contact forms, newsletter sign-ups, grant inquiries, volunteer interest, research proposals):
- You confirm it is accurate and you have rights to share it.
- You grant us a non-exclusive license to use, store, and review it to operate our programs.
- We may remove or reject submissions at our discretion.
4) Donations; Recurring Gifts; Refunds
- Donations support our programs and operations.
- Recurring gifts continue until you cancel (you can cancel via the link in your receipt or by contacting us).
- If a restricted program is fully funded, we may reallocate to the closest program need.
- For mistaken or duplicate donations, contact us within 15 days at donations@radiantskinproject.org and we’ll work with you on a resolution.
5) Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise noted, the Site and its content are owned by Radiant Skin Project or used with permission. You may share or link to our content for non-commercial, educational use with attribution and without modification. Any other use requires our prior written consent.
6) Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Violate laws or infringe others’ rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access, scrape at scale, or introduce malware.
- Use the Site to advertise or sell goods, services, or miracle “anti-aging” claims.
- Misrepresent affiliation with us.
7) Third-Party Services
Payment processors (for donations), email platforms, analytics, and other vendors help us operate the Site. Your use of those services may be subject to their terms and privacy policies.
8) Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Site is provided “as is.” We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.
9) Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold harmless Radiant Skin Project and its officers, directors, staff, and volunteers from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.
10) Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the Site means you accept the changes.
